Delete your FamilyChaos account

Use this form to request deletion of your FamilyChaos account and personal data. You can also delete your account directly inside the app — open your Profile and scroll to the Account section for immediate self-service deletion.

How to request account deletion

1Enter the email address associated with your FamilyChaos account in the form below and click Submit deletion request.
2You'll receive a confirmation email at that address acknowledging your request.
3Our team will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.

What data is deleted

Your account credentials (email address and password)
Your display name and profile photo
Your private vault entries (passwords and secure notes only you could access)
Your external calendar connections and all events imported from them
Your device push notification registrations and active sessions
Any content you created that you specifically request to have deleted

What may be kept

Shared content you created (calendar events, lists, bills, notes, recipes) may be kept for the rest of your family with your name removed — unless you request full deletion of specific content types
Shared vault entries you created may be kept accessible to other family members with your ownership removed — unless you specifically request deletion
Stripe billing records are retained as required by financial regulations, independently of your FamilyChaos account

Retention period

Your personal data is deleted within 30 days of your verified request. Any anonymised shared content retained for your family has no fixed deletion date — it remains until the family account is closed or that content is deleted by a family member.
